150th Years Celebration

150th Years Anniversary * May 18, 1863
Beginning on May 19th, our church will start celebrating our 150th anniversary. This celebration
will continue from May through November 2013 and it will be held on the third Sunday of every month.
The celebrations dates are:
May 19 (the original date of our church charter is May 18), June 16, July 21, August 18,
September 15, October 20 and November 17.
The May and November dates will include a dinner after worship. The anniversary committee
is planning on inviting special guests to those two services which will include previous
ministers, their spouses, their children, representatives from IL South Conference, etc.
During June, July, August and October, special events will be held during morning worship.
The September 15 celebration will be a concert with our choirs and invited guest choirs
from surrounding sister churches. Program will be in the afternoon; probable time 3pm.
This event is in celebration of our rich musical heritage of this congregation.
It will be a very special day.
Remember that we are also collecting memorabilia to display or scan for our congregation
to see. You may pass any items of interest on to any on the committee.
